The purpose of this trip was to establish relationships with the congregation of Mount of Olives Baptist Church in Posoltega. Pastor Felix leads a church of about 75. This church has a heart for prayer and the people in the community. The mission team rewired their church building and led VBS many days. Door-to-door evangelism and participating and leading in worship was a highlight of our trip. The church held a great farewell service to show the team thier appreciation the last night.
March 21-28, 2014
The purpose of this trip was construction. The team raised money to complete a building beside the church for education space. Local carpenters began the work of completing the buidling and the team came and completed the painting and wiring of the building. Church worship services, VBS and door-to-door ministry uplifted the team and congregation as we fellowshiped together.
July 17-24, 2014
The purpose of this trip was primarily Women's ministry. The team led 2 Women's Conferences in 2 churches; Mount of Olives Baptist Church and Let there be Light Baptist Church in El Viejo. The women's conference focus was on "Love Never Fails" where the team spoke on a variety of topics including: Love for God, Love for Family, Love for Neighbors and Love for Self. The team handed out hygeine bags and led crafts.VBS was held daily and a 3-night worship rally in the streets included 2 nights of great preaching and 1 night showing the movie "Courageous." During the week the team saw 11 people come to know the Lord thru door-to-door evangelism and worship.

The FBC Nicaraguan Mission Team made the trip to Nicaragua July 22-29 to minister and share the gospel thru door-to-door evangelism and worship.
